The Master of Educational Administration (MEA) is a 30-hour program that meets the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) requirements for certification as a K – 12 building-level administrator (principal). Students in the MEA program must complete a 300-hour internship of which approximately half of the hours are accomplished during completion of the courses. The internship hours are completed in an approved school setting under the supervision of building administrator and a university supervisor. The courses in the program are designed so that students complete the DESE-required MPEA performance assessment and the content assessment required for certification which is administered by Pearson Corporation.

There is also a track option for Special Education Director! This track is intended for Missouri certified special education teachers.
